If acting, dancing, and singing aren't exactly your forte, there's still plenty of room for you at Act2 in one of our wonderful crews!
Costumes crew
Crew Chiefs: Brooklyn Brown and Griffin Peltier
In costumes, we have a room that is essentially a big closet. We then get together as a crew and try and read through the script and see what costume pieces each character is wearing. Sometimes we look at the movie/show to see what the characters are wearing; other times we just read through the script and get a feel for the personality of the characters and try to match that with clothes. It is a very nice place if you are into fashion and is just a great place to express yourself through a character without being on stage. |
props crew
Crew Chief: Autumn Lyon and Ethan Wood
Welcome to Act2’s most chaotic crew! Props crew! We work both on and off stage to make sure shift changes go smoothly. During productions we wear all black and move the flats, furniture, curtains, ect. Props crew has a ton of fun traditions like the ICONIC props dance that we perform during green room! We also have a bunch of other secret stuff that you can only learn about if you join us,,, join us,,,,, join us,,,,,,,, J̴̡̧̨̛̙̗̺͔͕̼͐̅̈́̿̈́͂̈́̐̌̒͠Ǫ̵̢̥̖̬̟̹̰̬̦͔͙̉̀̃I̷̲͈͔͙̞͉͓̝̘̝̊̊̅̒́̀͆̈̓̄̏Ņ̴̛̬̬̙̭͎̝̩̥͓̰̩̋̅̏̃͑̋̈́̅̎̚͝͝͝ ̴̢̮̞̣̮̼͚̟̜͇̣͙͙͖̻͐̓̓̍̑͐͊̀̒͐̀͋͘͝͝Ṵ̴̡̨̨͙̘̩̖̮̘̈́̈́͛̇̊̄̃̀̍̈͝S̸̻͖̤͇̠͐̄͐̍̀̀̇̾̿͋̚͜͠ ̶̛̣̊̿͒̌A̵͇̮̜̳̯̰̼͚͖͉̳̺̯̻̐́͆͘͝N̶̨͈̳͈̠̫͙͈͈̺̱̱͂̑̾D̷̡͍͚̗̹̹̣͉̼͇͈̬͋̽͐ ̸̧̫̗̜̤̤̺̝̭͖͖̞͚̗̌͑̀͊͋̒̏̿͐̊͒͝͝ͅB̸̢̞͉̪͔̺̯̠̭̫̣͂̑̃͊̾̿̾̍̊̆͘͘̕̕̕E̶̥͆̓̚ ̶̻̩̦̂̄̇́͂͠ͅS̶̟̤̱̫͕̪̜̪͂̑͜ͅA̷͍͋̌͠V̶̲̱̼̻̩͉͍͇͜͝Ḛ̶͓̞̦̾̅̆̎́͗̅̆̉̒̂͌̑̈́D̸̢̲̣̣̪̼͍̳͉̰͕̥̩̖̳̍̊̈́͋̽͐̔̏̀̐͐̃͘̚͝ ̷̡̤̮̯͙̙͖̓̆̆̊̓̿͊̊̾͠ Anyways! sound crew
Crew Chief: Griffin Rea and Phoenix Mayes
(Transcribed from an in-person conversation) This is just a placeholder. Okay. We mic people for the shows, handle sound effects, and work with the sound board. Me and Joe are really fun and when we're in the booth with Skyler, it gets really lit. Oh! We get soda during Hell Week of shows, and... its... tasty. |
lights crew
Crew Chiefs: Via Jones and Raph Gonzalez
Light Crew's main responsibility is to light the stage for the actors and audience members in a fun way that reflects the purpose and theme of the show. We work on the grid above the stage a lot, but our home base is the sound and lights booth. On the grid we move, set, and focus lights based on the needs of the set, as well as keeping up with basic maintenance such as changing out the lightbulbs. In the booth we control all the lights in the theater with a lights board, which is what we use during shows to accomplish the different changes. In our crew you’ll learn a lot about different lights, and light fixtures and also a lot of different terms, such as: gels, gobos, subs, etc. Its a lot of fun and definitely worth joining. You also get really close with Sound Crew since you work two feet away from them. |
art crew
Crew Chief: Kai Mastenbrook and Bella Wittrup
In Art Crew we paint the set and work with Set Crew to make the shows look good. I don't know what else to add, that's all we do. Sorry |
makeup crew
Crew Chiefs: Madison Mervyn and Jazlyn Martz
Makeup crew consists of people who want to learn more about makeup and hair, as well as people who just enjoy makeup. It's a fun place to be, we do the makeup and hair for all of the cast. We make sure that everyone in our crew is involved and learning, and that everyone in cast leaves our room looking stage ready.

set crew
Crew Chief: Charlie Bates
Set crew designs and builds all of the sets for each show. We work with Art Crew to make sure that our sets look nice onstage. We use power tools. |
